These subscription terms ("terms") govern your access to and use of the premium features of the lockslab app ("app") offered through paid subscription services ("subscription"). By purchasing or activating a subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms, as well as our privacy policy and user agreement (collectively, "governing documents"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase or activate a subscription.
Lockslab offers optional premium subscriptions to unlock additional features, such as exclusive hairstyle collections, advanced styling tools, ad-free experience, and priority support, beyond the free functionality of the app. All core functionalities related to photo processing and hairstyle experimentation remain locally on your ios device, and no personal data, photos, or facial information is collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers, regardless of subscription status.
We offer various subscription plans, including but not limited to monthly, annual, and half annual access plans (each a "plan"). The specific details of each plan, including pricing, duration, and included premium features, are displayed within the app at the time of purchase. Pricing is subject to change without prior notice, but any changes will not affect active subscriptions.
To activate a subscription, you must complete the purchase process through the ios app store. Your subscription will be linked to your ios device account (apple id) and will activate immediately upon successful payment. No account registration with lockslab is required, and we do not store any payment information or link your apple id to any personal data.
Payment for subscriptions is processed directly through the ios app store, and we do not handle or store any of your payment details (such as credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank information). All billing inquiries, refunds, and payment method updates must be managed through your apple id settings.
For recurring subscriptions (monthly, annual), your apple id will be automatically charged at the end of each billing cycle, unless you cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current cycle. The billing cycle will continue indefinitely until you cancel the subscription. Prices are quoted in the currency displayed in the app store, and may include applicable taxes as determined by your location.
One-time lifetime subscriptions are charged a single fee, with no recurring billing, and provide permanent access to premium features for the lifetime of the app on your ios device.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your apple id settings (settings > your name > subscriptions > lockslab). Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain access to premium features until that time. No partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of a subscription cycle.
Refund requests are subject to apple’s app store refund policy, as we do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, you must contact apple support through the app store or apple’s official channels. We reserve the right to deny refund requests for subscriptions that have been actively used to access premium features, in accordance with apple’s policies.
If you delete the app or reset your device, your subscription will remain active as it is linked to your apple id. You can restore access to premium features by reinstalling the app and signing in with the same apple id used to purchase the subscription.
Upon activating a subscription, you will gain immediate access to all premium features included in your selected plan. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove premium features at any time, with notice provided within the app. Such changes will not affect your access to the core premium functionality for the duration of your active subscription.
Premium features are for personal, non-commercial use only, in accordance with the user agreement. You may not share, transfer, or sublicense your subscription or access to premium features to any third party, including sharing your apple id to enable others to use the premium features.
If your subscription is canceled, expires, or is terminated, your access to premium features will cease immediately, and you will revert to the free version of the app. All data related to your use of premium features (such as saved styled previews) is stored locally on your device and will remain accessible in the free version, where compatible.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription at any time, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these terms, the user agreement, or any other governing documents. This includes, but is not limited to, fraudulent use of the subscription, sharing access with third parties, or using the premium features for commercial purposes.
In the event of suspension or termination, you will lose access to premium features immediately, and no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of the subscription. We may also restrict your ability to purchase future subscriptions to lockslab.
Your subscription may also be suspended or terminated if your apple id payment method is declined, and the issue is not resolved within a reasonable period. Access to premium features will be restored once payment is successfully processed.
We may update these subscription terms from time to time to reflect changes in our subscription offerings, app functionality, or applicable practices. Any updates will be posted within the app as a notification, and the updated terms will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the subscription after the posting of updated terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
If any changes to these terms materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice within the app, where practicable.
Premium features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that premium features will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all ios devices or versions. We reserve the right to temporarily disable premium features for maintenance, updates, or technical issues, with notice provided within the app when possible.
In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your subscription or access to premium features, including but not limited to loss of access, disruption of service, or dissatisfaction with premium features. Our liability shall be limited in accordance with the limitations of liability set forth in the user agreement.
